๐Ÿ๏ธ Day 4 โ€“ Cliffs, Craic & Goodbyes ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿป

Our last full day together โ€” and Ireland made sure we wouldnโ€™t forget it! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ’š

First job of the day was to get air in my rear tyre, againโ€ฆ We then started the day rolling onto the Tarbert ferry โ›ด๏ธ, engines rumbling and coffee in hand. Spirits were high as we cruised back onto the Wild Atlantic Way, hugged tight to the coastline by spectacular cliffside roads ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ๐Ÿž๏ธ.

With a scenic spin along Kilbaha Bay we made an impromptu stop at Keatings Bar & Restaurant, known as โ€œthe nearest pub to New Yorkโ€ and famed for the Grave of the Yellow Men ๐Ÿชฆ. The plan was just a coffee breakโ€ฆ but when we discovered the coffee could be free โ˜•๐Ÿ˜„, it somehow turned into a full Irish breakfast. Not sure how that happened โ€” but no regrets! ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿž

The Cliffs of Moher came into view, wild and majestic. We thought about hiking to the topโ€ฆ until we saw the โ‚ฌ15 price tag and remembered we were in full bike gear ๐Ÿฅต. Common sense prevailed โ€” roadside views and a few cheeky photos did the job! ๐Ÿ“ธ

From there, the route continued past the Trump International Golf Links & Hotel ๐ŸŒ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Or, as the locals call it with a smirk โ€” โ€œRumpโ€ ๐Ÿ˜. We just has to stop for a closer look & photo opportunity.

๏ธBy late afternoon, we rolled into Doolin, a charming little town where our tents went up for the last time as a full group. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ

Well, almost โ€” one of my tent poles decided to retire early ๐Ÿ˜…, so a quick field repair was needed before I could fully settle in. I emailed the supplier the next day, and fair play โ€” by the time I got home, two brand-new poles were waiting for me under warranty. ๐Ÿ™Œโ›บ

Then came the emotional part:
We walked to a nearby pub, raised a few pints of Guinness ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿบ and shared stories from the road โ€” the breakdowns, the banter, and the breathtaking views.

As the music kicked in ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽป and the craic flowed, it hit us: the trip may have been winding down, but the memories were just getting started.

Tomorrow, I ride solo.
But tonight, we celebrated friendship, freedom, and the open road. ๐Ÿ’ซ
