Ready to roll through one of the UK’s most breathtaking playgrounds for bikers? Join us for a two-night Happy Bikers Tour of the Peak District – the perfect trip for anyone who wants a taste of touring, whether it’s your first adventure or your fiftieth!
We’ll clock up around 250 miles of pure biking bliss, complete with jaw-dropping scenery, iconic roads, good food, and two comfy nights near Matlock.
🌄 Day 1 – The Grand Kick-Off
Arrive at our chosen accommodation to pitch your tent or check into your room.
- Meet at 2:00pm, engines purring and smiles wide, before heading into the rolling countryside.
- Bakewell stop – time for afternoon tea and a taste of the legendary Bakewell Tart.
- Head back to base, with a chance to top up the bikes ready for tomorrow’s big ride.
- 7:00pm – meet in the bar for a welcome drink. Expect food, drink, and plenty of biker banter! 🍻
🏞️ Day 2 – More Peaks, More Thrills
After a hearty breakfast, it’s helmets on for a full day of riding some of the best roads the Peak District has to offer.
- Chatsworth House – a stunning stately home and perfect photo backdrop.
- Hope Valley & Hathersage – steeped in legends and literary history, from Jane Eyre to Robin Hood’s Little John.
- Snake Pass – one of the UK’s most iconic biking roads, guaranteed to make you grin inside your helmet.
- Winnats Pass – a dramatic limestone gorge and one of the Peak District’s finest gems.
- Cat & Fiddle – a must-ride classic, with a stop at the summit and retail therapy at the distillery.
- Ashbourne – a charming Derbyshire market town.
- Matlock Bath – biker heaven! The perfect place to park up for the night, share food, drinks, and stories from the road.
👋 Day 3 – Till We Ride Again
Another hearty breakfast, then it’s time to pack up and load the bikes. We’ll enjoy one last scenic cruise 60 miles finishing at Matlock Bath for lunch & final fair wells before heading home – full of stories, laughs, and memories that’ll last long after the engines cool.

1. Do I need to be an experienced rider?
Nope! This tour is designed for all levels of riders. New to touring? It’s a great confidence builder. Experienced? You’ll still love the roads, scenery, and atmosphere.
2. What kind of bike do I need?
Any road-legal motorcycle that’s comfortable for a couple of days’ riding is fine. From adventure bikes to tourers – if you love riding it, bring it along!
3. How big are the groups?
We keep it friendly with a maximum of 8 riders. It feels more like a mates’ ride than a massive convoy.
4. Do I need to arrange my own accommodation?
No – it’s included! Choose between camping or a comfy room, and enjoy breakfast each morning & evening meals.
5. What about food and drink?
Breakfast & evening meals are included. Lunches, and drinks are pay-as-you-go at our stops or at the bar in the evenings.
6. What should I bring?
- Your bike (road-legal, taxed, MOT’d, insured)
- Full riding kit (helmet, jacket, gloves, boots, trousers)
- Tent, sleeping bag ect. (if camping)
- Money for fuel, food, drinks & extras

7. What happens if the weather is bad?
We’re British bikers – we ride rain or shine! 🌧️☀️ Routes are planned with safety in mind, and we adapt as needed. (pack your waterproofs)
8. Can I come on my own?
Of course! Many riders join solo, and by the end of the weekend you’ll feel like part of the Happy Bikers family.
9. Do I need insurance?
Yes – you’ll need valid motorcycle insurance, tax, MOT (if applicable), and breakdown cover for peace of mind.
10. How do I book?
