Ireland 2025 – Day 2: Cork Curves with Scenic Stops

Day 2 – Cork Curves, Healy Pass & the First Guinness 🍻🏍️🌅

We pointed the bikes east then south, chasing the tarmac along the stunning West Cork coastal route 🌊 all the way to Castle Lower, and then it was time for the star of the day: Healy Pass 😍

And let me tell you, it was so good… we did it twice 🔁.

We stopped at the summit for photos 📸, jaws somewhere near our boots from the views. Then came a leg stretch on the Ring of Beara 🦵, more scenic swooping, and a quick stop at Eyeries—a postcard-worthy village that practically begged for more photos. Naturally, we obliged 📷

Then it was back up Healy Pass again—because why not?—but this time we turned right and made our way to the campsite in Killarney ⛺.

With camp set up, we walked into town 🚶‍♂️, where the craic was mighty and we finally had our first Guinness of the trip 🍺🇮🇪. Smooth, creamy, and well-earned.

So far: epic roads, double doses of passes, and a proper Irish welcome at the end. Not bad for Day 2. Not bad at all 👍
