Day 6 – Trollstigen to Malvik: Sunshine, Fjords & The Atlantic Road 🏍️☀️

Sunrise on Trollstigen
We set the alarms early to ride back up Trollstigen Pass for breakfast — because why not enjoy it twice? The sun was shining as we left Trollstigen Camping, a real novelty this week. The pass was quiet, perfect for grabbing more photos at the top before riding back down those famous hairpins.
Back to the Fjords – With Less Drama 🚢
Soon after rejoining our route, we were back to tunnels and ferries. Norway’s road network never misses a beat:
- Frames → Solsnes ferry
- Kanestraum → Halsa ferry
Both perfectly timed — we rolled straight on, and with FerryPay there was no fumbling for tickets or coins. Smooth sailing (literally).
The Atlantic Road: A Biker’s Dream 🌊
The highlight of the day? No contest — the Atlantic Road. This legendary stretch twists and curves between islands, with sweeping sea views and that rollercoaster bridge that makes every rider grin inside their helmet. With the sun sparkling on the water, it felt like summer had finally arrived.
A Perfect Finish in Malvik
After 6+ hours in the saddle, we rolled into Malvik, tired but happy. Sunshine, ferries, tunnels, and an iconic road — a proper Norwegian riding day.
